Sherika Gordon
Pre-junior at Drexel University
Major: Biomedical Engineering, with a concentration in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering

Her goals are to achieve the highest education available and to be a successful cardiologist or neurologist. She began training for this mission since she was a child, by volunteering to visit the pharmacy with her dad to gather a lot of knowledge about science. She was influenced by her admiration for the scientists who made great advances for science or for the lives of human beings; she wanted to do something along those lines. Her passion for studying biomedical sciences will help her to not only be successful, but also to make a tremendous impact on peoples’ lives.
